Where healthcare advocacy meets modern care access
Renée Balcom is a healthcare advocate, care strategist, and entrepreneur whose career has been defined by one purpose: helping people find their way through complex care systems when they need it most.

Renee’ didn’t set out to build a platform.
She set out to solve a problem she saw every day.
For years, she worked closely with individuals and families trying to navigate care—often during some of the most overwhelming moments of their lives. What she saw wasn’t just a lack of resources. It was confusion, fragmentation, and people being left to figure things out on their own when they needed support the most.
The system wasn’t built to be easy to understand. And for many, it felt impossible to navigate without help.
Renee became the person people turned to—the one who could step in, make sense of it all, and help them move forward with clarity and confidence.
But she also knew one-on-one support wasn’t enough to meet the need.
So she built Scroll.
A better way to connect people with trusted care, while still offering the hands-on advocacy so many families rely on.
Today, that mission lives through two paths—giving people the ability to find care on their own terms, or have a dedicated advocate by their side when they need it most.

Care Shouldn’t Feel This Overwhelming
Most people don’t start their care journey with a plan.
They start with a moment.
A diagnosis.
A phone call.
A growing concern they can’t ignore anymore.
And suddenly, they’re expected to navigate a system that’s complex, fragmented, and difficult to understand—often without clear guidance or support.
They’re left searching, second-guessing, and trying to make the right decisions under pressure.
This is where so many people get stuck.
- Navigating care for an aging parent
- Trying to understand a new diagnosis
- Coordinating services across providers
- Making decisions without clear information
Whatever You’re Facing, You Have Options
Whether you need a simple way to find trusted care or someone to walk alongside you through more complex decisions, Scroll was built to support you.
No matter where you are in your care journey, you don’t have to navigate it on your own. We’re here to help you move forward—with clarity, confidence, and the support you need.

Scroll was created to extend that support. To give more people access to trusted care, while still offering the kind of personal guidance that can make all the difference.
Because no one should have to figure it all out alone.

Changing the way people access care — through advocacy, technology, faith, and fearless leadership.
For more than 15 years, Renee Balcom has helped families navigate complex care decisions, healthcare systems, aging, advocacy, and crisis moments. Today, she is the Founder and CEO of Scroll.care, an AgeTech platform built to help families find trusted Care Service Providers and build a safer circle of care. There are moments in life when care becomes too complicated to navigate alone. A diagnosis. A fall. A hospital discharge. A family crisis. A parent who is no longer safe at home. A caregiver who is exhausted but does not know who to call.
Renee Balcom’s work sits inside those moments.
Through healthcare advocacy, case management, public speaking, community building, and the creation of Scroll.care, Renee is working to change how families access care, how providers are found, and how communities respond when people need support most.
